Bruhel Point Bluff Rocks
Mendocino Coast
Bruhel Point Rocks, one of the more recognizable features of the California Coastal National Monument. The exposed reef provides the habitat for a large colony of Harbor Seals that are very visible from the trail. Black Oystercatchers, a very vocal shorebird, may be seen and heard moving around the reef. Gulls and cormorants are usually present, as well. Photo © copyright by Robert Faucher.
