Cannonball Concretion

Perfectly round rocks as large as a small car, or as small as a volley ball litter the marked trail in the Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The "cannonballs" are formed by sediments within the walls of the Badlands. They eventually fall out of the walls. You are looking at real, touchable history here. Fascinating!
