Dead Indian Summit Overlook

Dead Indian Pass is a mountain pass on Wyoming Highway 296. The pass is located on Chief Joseph Scenic Byway and crosses the Absaroka Range. From this pespective one can see the tortuous path of the road, Steamboat Mountain in front of the glorious Sunlight Basin with White Mountain behind it and a sliver of the rocky valley of the Clark Fork of the yellowstone River.
