Expendable
Montana
A great, old, barn-like structure sits idle in a field in Montana while a Fork-tailed Palm-Swift (Tachornis squamata) takes flight above it. A nearby structure, in desperate need of repair, appears to have stalls, as one would find in a stable for horses. Perhaps the barn was for food storage for the horses and now is expendable.
