Rock City
Montana
Rock City is located directly north of Valier, Montana. The hoodoos are tall towers—up to 20 feet—were carved by erosion from wind and water. The Two Medicine River Canyon forms a wind tunnel, removing dirt and debris, revealing the limestone. The hoodoos create side canyons one can walk through, meaning everywhere you look there is a different perspective. Photo © copyright by Robert Faucher.
