Granite Point

Granite Point is one of many wide spots, set aside for fishing, launching boats and camping, along the Wawawai highway as it follows the Snake River. Because of high wind and waves on the surface of the river, this afternoon photo required two captures—one with a fast shutter speed to render the vegetation motionless, and a second with a very slow shutter speed to flatten out the surface of the river.
