Long Lake

Long lake, clogged with snow and Ice, sits beside the Beartooth Highway in Wyoming. The lake, which is surrounded by outcrops of Archean gneiss (a laminated metamorphic rock similar to granite), is one of the hundreds of glacial lakes on the plateau which were the result of Pleistocene glaciation.
